International Combat Sports Organization World Championships - France Oct 2026
Team, im so incredibly pumped to share this news with you guys. The International Combat Sports Organization has reached out and selected Submission Challenge to conduct Team USA Qualifiers to help put together Team USA to compete in their World Championships in France October 2026!
The ICO conducts championships martial art events throughout world for all martial arts styles: from Karate, Muay Thai, MMA, and Jiu-Jitsu (Gi and No-Gi) and a ton more. We've been selected as the qualifier event for their Gi and No-Gi event.
Starting with our Sioux City Event Nov 8th and all events after, we'll have a specific Qualifier division for youth ages 7 and up. If you have already registered but would like to alter your registration for this division, you can log into your smooth comp account and make the edits easily. www.smoothcomp.com
This is an incredible opportunity for our Midwest Grapplers to have a chance to represent their country in the ICO World Championships Event in France Oct 2026. Each qualifier will feature the area's absolute best competition vying for their chance to represent Team USA in Jiujitsu ! LETS GO!

Please Note: For the rest of 2025 our Sub Only Ruleset will determine the qualifier winner for each division. In 2026 there will be a specific ISO Division available for Gi and No-Gi for all skill levels including a Team Qualifier Division for the highest skill level. In 2026 you will need to win the ICO Qualifier division to be part of Team USA.
